About The D.C. Short Term Rental Alliance

We are a group of homeowners, small business owners, and community leaders who support the fair regulation of short-term rentals in the D.C. area. Many of us rent our

properties, either a portion or our whole home, to travelers looking for a unique lodging experience that allows them to feel at home. The majority of our visitors are families and groups that need extra space to be comfortable or want an experience outside of the traditional tourist district. As neighbors who care about the District, we look forward to working with local officials to ensure short-term rentals continue to benefit our communities.

Our Mission:

The D.C. Short Term Rental Alliance advocates for protecting the economic benefits that short-term rentals bring to homeowners, communities, and travelers. We support reasonable regulations that protect all types of short-term rentals and protects the entrepreneurial opportunities that short-term rentals bring to our neighborhoods. D.C. By sharing our stories, we strive to help educate local officials and groups on the benefits of short-term rentals and the need for policies that work for everyone involved in DC’s vacation rental ecosystem.
